Dr.LINDA PATTON, DVM
Dr. Linda Patton moved to Jefferson City in 1991 when she joined Westside Veterinary Clinic. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Patton has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a freshman in high school. Her favorite part of being a vet is making a sick pet better so they can go home and be with their family. Dr. Patton's family includes a terrific husband, David, and four very well-loved animals: Dreidel, a calico cat, their terror, Calliope (formerly a barn cat), Gabby, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Daisy, a Golden Retriever.
When Dr. Patton is not busy helping pets she loves to garden, Ceili dance, and often enjoys just reading a good book.
Dr.JILL BRADY, DVM, CVA
Dr. Jill Brady is a 1996 graduate from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She started her veterinary career at Westside Veterinary Clinic as a kennel person before entering vet school. After graduation, she practiced in Raleigh, North Carolina for 6 years, followed by 2 years here at Westside Veterinary Clinic. She then moved to Gainesville, Florida and practiced there for 5 years before happily returning to her hometown of Jefferson City and Westside Veterinary Clinic in 2009. In 2018 Dr. Brady completed her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture through IVAS. Her acupuncture knowledge and skills have been a great addition to the services offered at Westside.
Dr. Brady is married to her wonderful husband, Rik, and they are proud parents of an adorable girl. They are also 'parents' to Lifa, the greyhound and Suzie, the cat. In her spare time, Dr. Brady enjoys reading, kayaking, and pheasant hunting.
STEVE JACOBEK, DVM
Dr. Steve Jacobek was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where he started out Pre-Vet Med, but ended up receiving a degree in (human) Psychology. He called Denver, Colorado his home for nearly 10 years where he worked as a mosquito control field technician, and a counselor in an adolescent psychiatric facility.
While in Denver he decided to re-pursue his interest in Veterinary Medicine and took additional coursework at the University of Colorado-Denver before attending Veterinary School at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Upon graduation in 2005 Dr. Jacobek worked in small animal clinical practice for seven years in Las Vegas, NV.
Dr. Jacobek relocated to Jefferson City in September of 2012 with his wife Jeanne, a Jefferson City native. His interests include dentistry and internal medicine. He is happy to be part of the Westside family and enjoys meeting all the clients and patients, new and old!
In his free time he likes to spend time outdoors hiking, biking and snowshoeing with his wife, two sons, and their spoiled dogs, Vera (a Boston Terrier) and Della (a Chinese Pug).
